Hey guys.

I design in Dreamweaver, therefore I don't consider myself a true designer. My problem will make you believe that too, haha. Here is the page where the problem resides :
http://www.digitalonyxdesigns.com/K%20& ... /index.htm
See the group picture at the bottom of the page, now look to the right of it and see how far off set the text is from that? Why is that? In Dreamweaver, I have two tables setup side by side, with one cell each in one of those tables. The left table holds a cell which holds the picture, and the right table holds a cell which holds the text. Any ideas?? Thanks for anyones help!I use dw and I consider myself to be a 'true' designer. Its when you use all of the little wizards and design view things and dont touch the code that you are not very manly. Dw has some nice features to it, such as intellitext. Ok now for your problem. At first I was confused what it was because I use mozilla then I openend it in ie6 and saw... Well one suggestion would be useing
the text here
that way it will indent it equally on both sides. It will still have a space but it will be equal both ways and it wont be right on your image and that will look better, trust me on that one. next you should set an align for that cell. Try those and see what happens then post back.Ok, I did what you said to, to both text sections. Do you think that looks better than before?? Thanks for your help!I think it looks better. Now everything has a little breathing room.Moomancow,
I just looked at your page. Here's my opinion. You need to move that picture to the right, away from the black verticle line. Use Peofeo's suggestion on the image, too. Like this:

<IMG height=138 src=http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/"Hamiltonapartments_files/group_homepage.jpg" width=162>

Now it will look better.Ok, I removed the <blockquotes>, I think it showed to much white space. I repositioned the layout cells so as to allow some white space, which I agree, looks alot better now. However, do you see the group picture, and the text to the right of it? I would like that text to appear closer to that picture. I've tried to do that, but whenever I resize the layout table, it looks like it centers the text to the right in its own layout cell. I also tried to set a fixed width, but that didn't help me either. Any ideas?? Thanks for the help guys, as you can tell I'm still learning all this.Also, could you guys take a look at the pictures page I've been working on? Something isn't right with the NavBar if you take a look at it in IE, but in Netscape it looks like I want it to. Any ideas with this issue?
