In an earlier post, SEO Wars: Forget Black Hat, White Hat - What Color Is Your Lightsaber, I introduced six unique SEO styles (and respective lightsaber colors) for wielding the Force of magnetic content.
"The Force is what gives an SEO their power. It's an energy field created by magnetic content that binds search engines, web visitors, and marketers together."
White hat SEOs are called to a higher purpose of serving up quality content that web visitors would value, while [dark side] black hat SEOs are.. Continued at: http://searchenginewatch.com/article...-the-Dark-Side

There is slideshow. At beginning I liked slide N 18 - how to find .gov sites with certain keyword.
I tried site: org "bookkeeping blog" (between site: and org no blank) but unfortunately found not so very good blogs... So my opinion that there is some new information (at least for me). Need to check all other in reality to get opinion.... Quote: Originally Posted by indybail "Matt Cutts, I am your father..." LOL! I LOVE that! Wonder what Cutts would have to say?.... It's very interesting to see a writer who was able to consolidate SEO and Star Wars. Such people really need to share ebooks about how they've done it, so I have one good technique to apply when it is my turn to update my arsenal of sites with new and interesting write ups. This is exactly what we need. Truly. You know, sometimes I just don't want to tell people that I am an IM, and that one of my tasks is in fact SEO. Some automatically think I am the bad guy.
The one thing I like is that the post addresses a serious problem. I saw a comment on a forum yesterday about how to SEO a site properly, and this person thought that it was entirely ok to first create a site that was just for search engines. The site made no sense at all, and was completely overloaded with keywords. Their response was simple. You do it this way until the site has reached page one, and then you replace it with your own content that is targeted for visitors. I don't really think I need to say on how many levels this is wrong. But it goes to show you just how bad things are out there.
Newbies are targeted by self proclaiming guru's and taught the biggest load of crud this sideof the solar system. just so they can make a few bucks. If newbies are taught the right way, I am sure you will see a huge dip in spamming, BH tricks to get sites ranked etc.
This blog post has enough information as it is to get a newbie on the right track. it's extensive and has helpful information for them,
