I was just lurking around on the dailyblogger blog and found this blog post i thought would be good to share with you all. Some interesting stuff..
Quote: What are the SEO strategies, if at all, followed by popular blogs ? Do they give importance to SEO ? If they do, are there anything to learn from it ? Is it different from the regular basic SEO ? Let’s find out if we have answers for the questions above. Continued at: 5 SEO Tips to learn from Popular blogs
Now before you go and answer the questions above, i'd suggest you read the whole blog post first.
If you disagree with one of the tips please share with us your thoughts. Man, the interlinking thing really works well. Even beyond the importance of the basic navigational linking structure, I think showing related posts (on your domain) is a good thing to do.
Totally agree with all the points. To have a blog that people really want to read, you just can not focus on a small group of keywords, or focus on the same keywords on every post. Readers will pick it up quickly and it's a huge turn off. Interlinking is sure a part of my strategy for my success in SEO.
I also agree with the author of the article, if you focus too much on jamming keyword to reach a level of keyword density, you are not going to be able to publish good content.
