nobody knows why this happens?I think maybe it's a case of slight calculation errors in IE determining the box sizes, such that sometimes it's coming out to a fraction over 100% of the available width (Firefox didn't have the same problem, go figure 
). I'd suggest reducing the width of one of the columns by 1%, and maybe changing the right column to float right instead of left.oh i see... i didn't even think of checking it in FF! i see what you mean though... im starting to really see why IE sucks!
