2 languages on one page

I am preparing a page which consists of paragraphs in both Spanish and English. What, if anything, should I do to this tag please:<br />

Thank you for any reply. :)<!--content-->You should do nothing to it... this just tells the browser what language version you are using... ie HTML 4.01. You can add to it, but that will just go on to say whether you are going to make the language transitional etc, but that hasn't anything to do with spoken language.<!--content-->You can include lang="xx" attributes on Anchors within the BODY of the page to show the language in use.<br />

The "xx" codes come from those listed in the ISO 639 standard.<br />
<br />
Country codes are listed in ISO 3166.<br />
Currency codes are listed in ISO 4217.<br />
Date and Time formats are shown in ISO 8601.<!--content-->
