i know forum posting is one of the link building method . if 100 forum posting with signature and 1000 forum posting with signature is equal value ? i can not under stand your question. As per search enigne rules, 1 quality backlink is better than some low quality backlinks and also the links from different sites are effective than links from same site.

Surely, the impact of having 100 signatures will be different from impact cause in SEO because of 1000 signatures.
But, surely there must be different impact on your website. Unabe to understand your question . Clear this more to make use understand k now i am explain clearly for example v7n forum we take in this forum everybody having different post count with signature links. A have 10 forum post count B have 100 forum post count . A have 10 forum post means he get backlinks from this forum 5 backlinks and B having 100 forum posting so he get 50 backlinks so now i am asking A and B getting equal link juice value or not. Because B backlinks is greater than A. Hey friend, I don't understand what happened to remaining 50backlinks to B because he has did 100 forum posting na. Same in the case A too, what happened to remaining 5 backlinks because he did 10 forum posting na...
For your question, i think both are getting different link juice. I think he want to say 100 links from Quality forum of PR 8 and 1000 links from PR 2 do they are equally effective ..I will say dear quality matters not quantity..and please follow up the thread if you ask a question. Out of my experience I have found only few of the forums posts are being indexed by Google though you have a lot. In process, if the post with many replies will get PR and this will certainly improve the quality of the backlink.
However, the homepage PR of a forum need to considered for the quality of the backlinks generated through the signature of the forum posts. at first consider that post count is not a fact. A,b,c,d,e,f create profiles in a forum. so they all are getting a profile link.
now come to number of posts. Do you know why people try to put quality threads in high quality forums? they are indexed very quickly and every forums have their own visitors. people can visit your site via signature. so the more you post in the forums the more you get indexed. and the more you get popular. forget the matter of links. UNLESS your thread goes viral, I think then your traffic spike gives you extra link juice. so write brilliant well composed threads with correct english and correct grammar, and maybe a lot of people get impressed or get involved in the discussion, and it goes viral and you get a ton of traffic and add value to the forum at the same time. 1 top quility backlink may equal to 1000 back links.
