The keygen generates a key for me though it doesn't seem to work. Anyone else having problems when trying to upgrade?

Thanks Guys. It is nice to know there are people who are quick to fix this. I run a website on a very very tight budget and we have been using vbulletin since 2.0. And we keep growing by leaps and bounds and because of dedicated people like you the site can grow (software wise) along with what the users expect.

I already used the thanks button, but a button can not say what a nicely typed response can:

I thank you for this and it will come in handy for testing on my home web server, I had searched for nearly three hours before finding this website which indeed looks like a very good website for Vbulletin and Vb releases + mods.

I look forward to participating more on this forum in the near future and being a member. ;)

i chmoded the whole forum upload folder to 777 then i pressed the button! what must i do?

You need de chmod the files in that directory also :)
