Hello first of all thanks Hoxxy for this this is what ive always been after. A couple of questions though if i may.

Changing the width? I can do that ok but the background has a big white space thats the width of the original. Is there anyway to change this?

also does anyone have any idea on how i can display differant forums the way vb.org has?

if i can sort that out i think i will be in vb forum skinning heaven.

Thanks

Reg

You need to alter the bodybkgd.jpg image located in the gradients folder, it will be fixed width even if you alter, I have altered mine to be 958px, just moved the left and right side out 50px.

Fantastic piece of work Hoxxy. Installed..

I was able to roughly (and i say roughly loosely) match the vbulletin.org font.. apparently Vborg paid adobe to create this font.

It works on FF aswell :)

Now if i could find a mod for 'Similar Thread' now that would be a skin well and truly complete :D

Ok i got a problem with this mod..

When i reply to any thread i get this error message..

Code:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Thanks Hoxxy..

I got another major problem.. When i log out.. The forum does not show properly. Only the navbar and header are shown the rest is a white page.

Any chance of a 3.7.3 update.. A lot to ask.. knowing full well how much goes into designing skins.

Sorry I dont have any intentions to update at this time, I did try a while back for another version but the coding was so scrappy that I gave up, what it really needs is a complete rewrite which I just don't really have time for right now, but I do realise alot of members have or do use it so never say never ;)

Well, seeing as Hoxxy isn't working on this, and I have permission to, I'll tell show you guys what changes I have made:
- Logo PSD provided with text (similar font)
- Different gradient used for header background (same as vBulletin.org)
- Skin renamed to Blue Lagoon
- Skin recoded from head to boot
- Search is working
- Skin is 3.7.3 compatiable
- Made as close looking to vBulletin.org as I could make

Things I haven't got working or done (yet):
- Navbits array doesn't appear on forumdisplay, or showthread
- Statistics area underneath quick reply
- <if> statements (Haven't had time yet, but are easily done)
- A few <br />'s and nbsp;'s to add here and there to separate the nav and the main page

:D I'm just looking through the gtpostingrules product Hoxxy gave, and finding a way of implementing it.

Nice1.. No rush my friend..

Nice font closeness too.. Took me ages to find a similar one..

To be honest, I've been so busy with other stuff, I haven't really had time for this, but as Hoxxy always says..."good things come to those who wait" :D
