Hey everyone, I'm a new user, looks like this site/community could be a valuable resource in the future.<br /><br />The basic idea is that the user enters a website URL, the script downloads the source code, searches through it, and then returns what the user is looking for (another URL in this case). This would be through a website rather than executed locally.<br /><br />The problem is I really dont know where to start. Is PHP capable of this kind of thing? I'm not asking to be spoonfed, but I'm really not sure what languages to look at in order to try and create something like this.<br /><br />Many Thanks.
