hi all im a total novice tyring to create my first website, done alot of reading but still not come across any reading around forum site design.<br /><br />i want style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /><!--content-->

phpBB is so dangerous!<br /><br />Dreamweaver (as I understand it) is mainly to do with CSS / HTML. This is what you call your "front end" stuff - it's what the browser interprets and displays.<br /><br />Things like PHP are what you call your "back end" stuff - it's what the server eats and spits out. You need back end stuff to be able to have the functionality of a forum such as this.<br /><br />It takes a *LOT* of expertise to write your own forum software, so my best suggestion would be to look at installing an existing forum.<br /><br />How about BBPress? It's from the makers of wordpress and easy to customise...<!--content-->
