can i get faster at swimming?

I'm 14 just joined USA Swimming in California, they swim competitively, and i have never, so they put me on dev team with a bunch of 10 year olds, do you think i can get faster over time and make it up with the big guys? Any tips? i swim 28 seconds for a 30 meter freestyle, heard thats really slow. How to improve? <br />

you get faster and faster over time. im on a team too and i used to b with the little kids. now im with people odler than me i used to have a 40sec 50 yard free now i have a 28 )

going to practice more often helps too

train really hard and dnt miss a session. u need 2 show ur dedicated nd u will improve. jst train really hard every session
