After last night's games, what are your opinions on AC Milan?

I was at San Siro and saw them win 4-1. We finally played decent football and frankly all the goals were brilliant. My opinions

Abbiati was good and should be the 1st goalie. Dida was again unsure, didnt save a goal that was a shot on his post and fluffed an exit which didnt result in a goal thanks to Favalli.
Defense was good, except centre backs. Favalli is ok but that is NOT his position and he is not a 1st team player. Bonera still makes too many mistakes. good Zambro and esp Marek J on the wings. Pirlo was superb, pinpointing passes for the wings and contributed to the goals. Gattuso battling it away like usual and when he went out we suffered in the middle of the pitch. Flamini also good but needs to be more incisive in the game but he is growing to the italian style of play. Ambrosini I give a vote of 8. Brillian goals, esp the second one. Seedorf class tho he tend to not be consisten enough and that worries me (but we have options there with Dinho back). Paloschi needs a break. Great future for the kid but surely played too much in recent weeks and as a lone striker it has tired him out. Inzaghi once again hits Juve with a goal, and great pass for the 4th.

We are still missing nesta, Kaladze, Kakà, Dinho and Pato. Galliani also said just before the game that he is still going for a new centre-back plus Ivanovic has put a formal transfer request in to Chelsea.

All together the team has grown, they wanted the win and wanted to please the fans. Fans were awesome and really happy with the performance. Lots of chanting and choruses for players and overall team alike.

And beating Juventus 4-1 like that just rocks. Can't wait for the first game of the season.

Football season is awesome, only topped by Rapture time ;)
@Imbecile your name suits you.

@Stefy Well maybe u thought we would win but not 4-1. Of course I thought we could win also, but 4-1 was a good result.
you're right..milan played very well last night.. all they needed is a mentality and confidence and good forward players like inzaghi!
and yes i think abbiati should be in the starting lineup he deserves it more than kalac and dida at the moment..

Even I think the game was awesome [Boo Milan hehe]. In my opinion Ambrosini was the star of the game I just enjoyed watching him play. Milan trashed Juve and seems like they're getting back in game, although, we will see.. I think that the winner of this Cup usually does crap in Serie A, but this could be a good warm-up. We will see.

I think they are still a top team and if they keep their best players fit i think they will easily win the UEFA cup, and i hope they do for Maldini's sake, +get in top 4 in league

AC Milan sure played extremely good . As for me AC Milan is the best league team ever. Man U is good as well but I favor AC Milan more than anyone. The last night match , Milan just outclassed Juventus like a baby.It was a superb performance by the Italian league.I just cant wait for the first match to start.I am a big fan of all the payers you have mentioned above like Kaka, Dinho etc .All of them were really great players and I am missing them as well .But cant do anything .Just hoping for their return....

AC Milan rocks!!!
GOOD LUCK MILAN

Finally a great Milan!
I just hope they keep playing like that, we will see.
Ambrosini and Seedorf were great, I loved all the goals.
Just a great pre-campionato game D
Forza Milan!

I didn't see the game, but they destroyed Juve 4-1? I gotta hand it to them.
But come on, you're not gonna beat Inter like that haha, we're gonna kick your ass!! jk

Simply the best Milan performance in this Pre Season esp we had a lot of key players missing including Kaka &Nesta & Kaladze , Flamini proves to be the best deal for this summer , Ambrosini & Seedorf made a very good game , Abbiati proves he deserves the first goal keeper position , Dida is still shaky , he and kalac should leave , Inzaghi is still a super striker , Milan seems to be ready for the season but I still insist that we do need a defender , Ivanovic looks a perfect choice for me but just hope Chelsea will let him go .Milan looked almost perfect for me esp in the first half just hope they will continue on this performance

The game was excellent and entertaining.
Abbiati seems to be the best goalkeeper, Dida is improving. TBH, Abbiati wasn't troubled much in the first half. It was in the second half Juventus started causing Milan trouble, and it was then, Dida was playing.
Defence was okay. Zambrotta and Oddo were cool. Oddo has to improve on his crosses though. His goal-line clearance was nice too. (it wasn't Favalli I think). Bonera isn't fast enough. Darmian should play more games. He seems cool when he played for 5 minutes or so. Jankulovski was nice yesterday. Didn't see much of Antonini
The midfield was great. Pirlo seems to have got back his form. Gattuso played better than what he did in his recent games. Flamini was good too, helping the attack and the defence. Ambrosini was excellent too. Superb goals by him. Brocchi.. uh he is his usual self. Cardacio should have been given more time. His substitution was just a time wasting plan by Ancelotti.
Seedorf was the man of the match, and yes, he is a bit inconsistent. When at his best, he's superb. Paloschi needs some rest. Viudez needs some confidence - with playing time. Inzaghi.. you don't need to say anything, when he's on the field, he scores.

I liked this criticizing of Pato by Dunga.http//www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=823690
He seems a bit over-confident in the Olympics. Needs some motivation.
Ronaldinho is getting back his old form, although he hasn't shown any of his trademark runs yet.

ugh... Rapture even in this question!!

Oh, and on the transfers, I hope Ivanovic deal goes through and that Brocchi - Stendardo exchange takes place.

Umm... Should I lie or be honest???

Ok Honestly speaking, I was busy and didn't watch the game. And when I saw the score I wasn't surprised Milan Was winning I was surprised Juventus was losing that badly!

It was a mighty surprise for me- I thought Juve would run them closer.
Was impressed by Seedorf- he totally exploited and time and space afforded to him by the naive Juve defenders.
Another thing that strike me was that Ambrosini was absolutely brilliant in taking his goal. Full of energy and hard running the whole night, he took to his new role well.
